This route follows the Qiantang River waterway, tracing sites central to Hangzhou’s river transport history.
The Zhejiang First Pier, Yuanpu Ferry, Shuangpu Anchorage, Wujia Ferry, and Wenyan Ferry are the key locations of my field research and oral history interviews, documenting the living memories of boatmen along the river.
