Shuangpu Anchorage
Shuangpu Anchorage is located on the Fuchun River in Fuyang District, Hangzhou, covering the waters between Dongzhou Port and Wufeng Island. Situated at the confluence of the Qiantang River, Fuchun River, and Puyang River, its open waters provide an excellent mooring environment. It serves as a crucial passage for inland river shipping in northern Zhejiang and the Qiantang River waterway, and is the only anchorage area on the Qiantang River connecting the Sanbao Ship Lock and the Xinba Ship Lock. On average, nearly 700 vessels await lock transit here daily, accounting for over half of the total vessels in the Hangzhou navigation area.

As a key node for vessels waiting for lock transit, temporary stops, and repositioning, the anchorage provides safe berthing space for ships transporting coal, slag, and other materials. It also offers supporting services such as shuttle boats and floating convenience store boats, addressing crew needs for shore trips and daily supplies. During high tide on the Qiantang River, Shuangpu Anchorage also serves as an emergency transfer point for vessels, providing a buffer for upstream travel to other safe anchorages.
