Wufeng Ferry Crossing
Wufeng Ferry Crossing is located on the southern shore of Wufeng Island in Shuangpu Town, Xihu District, with its counterpart dock situated in Yiqiao's Fuchun Village, Xiaoshan District. It serves as a key transportation hub for accessing Wufeng Island from the southern side.
As Wufeng Island is a river island without any bridge connection to the mainland, this ferry crossing, along with the northern ferry on the island, forms the primary means of access. It plays an essential role in supporting residents' daily commutes and the transportation of agricultural supplies. The current ferry service accommodates both passengers and vehicles, including pedestrians, non-motorized vehicles, motorcycles, and cars. The one-way trip takes only about 5 minutes, providing a quick and convenient link between the island and the outside.
